Firesist by Glen Raven is a flame-resistant, 100% solution-dyed acrylic awning and canopy fabric. The fire-retardant property is inherent to the fiber, so it will not leach or wash out over the life of the fabric, and a proprietary coating adds water, stain, and mildew resistance. It meets common fire codes including NFPA-701 and California State Fire Marshal Title 19, making it suitable for awnings, canopies, tents, and marine tops in fire-code jurisdictions. Solution-dyed construction resists fading and weathering and keeps the fabric dimensionally stable on the frame. Available in a range of colors and woven 60 inches wide, sold by the linear yard.
